Laura & Spike – BELOVED

Running down the dirt roads near Penamotley Creek on Lake Mitchell, our recently engaged intern Laura and her fiance Spike found one of the most precious natural resources for any relationship: mud.

Pure, soft, stinking Alabama-clay.

It stains; it saturates your hair; it splatters on your face. It’s as real as it gets. It’s the messiness we all find in our love. All of our friends and beloveds who we long to spend every moment with are as messy as we are, but we get that messiness splattered on our soul, caked on our ears, and it takes strength to work and play through our relationships together, each giving all we can to push through the messiness to the creek up ahead.

This Storyteller’s Freakout-turned-Beloved-Session is a testimony to a powerful relationship with two earthly loves, each messy, but each who they are (and better for it) because of the other.

>> When you choose your love, you have chosen your love, and then you can really start loving. <<

((Thank you Laura and Spike for being refreshingly real, totally letting go, and playing your heart out. The Parumpapum Trophy of Overall Awesome-ness is proudly given to you both this week)).

Very fun! Better than the usual wedding website still frames. I just did an obstacle course with mud. I don’t know why, but when you roll around in mud you smile and laugh!
